Ann Marie Messina Obituary
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Marie Messina of Springfield, New Jersey, born in Stirling, New Jersey, who passed away on November 12, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick DiGiammatteo and Mary DeVito DiGiammatteo; and her sisters, Frances Pepe and Sylvia Harris (Joseph Messina). She is survived by: her husband Joseph; her sons, John and Don; her grandchildren, Lauren (Patrick), Liana (Matt), Joseph, AJ (Camilla) and Nicholas; and her great grandchildren, Morgan, Milo and Amelia. She is also survived by her mother and father, two sisters, two brothers-in-law, a few uncles, aunts, and cousins.
Due to the continued health risk of Covid-19 there will be no wake or repose afterwards; however, in the spring, when there is an unveiling of Ann and Joe's headstone, the family plans to have some sort of get together to celebrate both Ann and Joe.
