He was predeceased by: his wife Marie. He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Wingard, Jr. of San Diego, CA, Ellen Gannon (Kevin) of Spring Lake and James "Jim" Wingard (Karin) of Spring Lake; his grandchildren, Denise Klein (PJ) of Wilmington, NC, Christin Nugent (Michael) of Safety Harbor, Fla, Cecelia, James and Matthew Wingard of Spring Lake; and his great grandchildren, Hadley Drew, Georgia Pearl Nugent, Keegan Marie and Palmer Elizabeth Klein.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital PO Box 1000 Dept 142 Memphis, TN 38101.
