She was predeceased by: her parents, Dennis F. Carey and Lucille T. Carey; and her siblings, Dennis, Jimmy, Joyce Salzmann, Bernice McCarthy and Peggy Carey.
She is survived by: her husband Hugh Doherty. She is also survived by 27 nieces and nephews, their husbands, wives and children.
