We bid farewell to Thomas J. Gilligan Jr. of Spring Lake, New Jersey, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 13, 2025 at the age of 82. Thomas touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Joseph Gilligan, Sr. and Mary (Giblin) of Montclair, NJ.; and his brothers, Mark, Robert and John.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane (Donohue); his sons, Brendan (Maureen) of Chicago, Patrick (Jennifer) and Peter (Sohini); his grandchildren, Annie, TJ, Keira, Reagan and Lukas; and his brothers, James (Ana) and Edward.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catharine's RC Church (215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762). An entombment will be held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anne Cemetery (1610 Allenwood Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719).
