It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maureen Van Popering in Spring Lake, New Jersey, born in Peekskill, New York, who passed away on May 13, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Maureen Van departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Maureen Van may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Maureen Van leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Conley and Martha McGinnis. She is survived by: her children, Tom (Lori), Maureen (John) and Berna (Ron). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and various grand dogs and great grand dogs.
