She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Sharkey and Mary Sharkey (Gallagher); her husband Edmund Burke; and her siblings, Daniel Sharkey, Patrick Sharkey, Thomas Sharkey and Mary Kelly.
She is survived by: her children, Maryanne Curtin (Ed), Edmond Burke III, Nancy Bond (Tom), Joseph Burke (Sonya) and John Burke (Denise); her brother Hugh Sharkey; and her sisters-in-law, Esther Kapcsos (Burke), Ruth Sharkey and Peggy Sharkey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's name to the Center for Hope Hospice, 1900 Raritan Road, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
