He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Patrick Slattery and Sarah Slattery; his wife Helen; his children, Kerry, Brian (Nancy) and Deirdre; his grandchildren, Kelly Sharin (Mark, Joseph Slattery), Bridget Slattery, Brianna Slattery and Matthew McKeon-Slattery; his great grandchild Graham Joseph Sharin; and his pet Hope.
