John D. McMenaman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2022, at the age of 88, John D. McMenaman of Spring Lake, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph McMenaman and Martha McMenaman; his brother Joseph McMenaman; his grandson Zachary Keys; and his wife Bunni McMenaman.

He is survived by: his children, Maureen Deel (Jeff) of Mechanicsville, Karen Golding of Brielle, Shawn Maynard, Megan Gepp (William), John McMenaman (Patricia) of Wall, Maria McMenaman Young (Peter Young) of Belmar, Bernadette Hogan (John) of Spring Lake, Matthew McMenaman (Mary) of New Hampshire and Thomas McMenaman (Tiffany) of Manasquan; and his brother Paul McMenaman of Colorado. He is also survived by 46 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family specifically requests donations be made in Jack's name to Mission of Mercy, c/o St. Catharine Church, 215 Essex Ave., Spring Lake, NJ 07762, check should be made payable to "Mission of Mercy". These donations are being used to build a school in Uganda for poor and impoverished children.
