She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Sumer. She is survived by: her children, Greg Sumer, Cynthia Basile (Charles), Patricia Abrahamson (Kermit) and Christina Sumer; and her daughter-in-law Linda Marant. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's name to Catholic Charities, 383 West State Street Trenton, NJ 08607-1423.
