He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lister and Kathryn Lister (Dunn); and his brother Joseph J. Lister. He is survived by: his wife Joan (Smith); his daughters, Karen Murphy (Joseph) and Patricia Kest (Stephen); his grandchildren, Christopher Murphy (Elisabeth), Caitlin San Filippo (Christopher), Matthew Murphy (Markela), Sara Kest, Shannon Murphy (Jesse Gemberling-Johnson) and Zachary Kest; his great grandchildren, Ryan and Samantha Murphy; his sister K. Patricia Cotten; and also, Michael Flynn, Police Chief and George. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
