He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kenny and Eugenie Kenny; his brother Pierce Kenny; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Kenny and Paul Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Janet (Gavin); his children, Christy (Robert Notigan) and Gavin (Angus MacLean Rennie); his grandsons, Robby and Pierce; his siblings, Eugenie Kenny, Mary Therese (Bart Leverich) and Liam Kenny; and his parents-in-law, Arlene Crane, Carol, Peter Murray, Jack and Susan Gavin. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
