Kiernan of Spring Lake, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on December 17, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward F. Carroll and Vera Durkin Carroll; her husband James E. Kiernan; her son-in-law John Grocki; and her brothers, Edward Carroll and Robert Carroll.

She is survived by: her children, James Kiernan (Laura), Sharon Kiernan, Susan Kiernan and Carolyn Kiernan (Grocki); her grandchildren, Shannon, James, Jillian, Joseph and Marlee; and her siblings, Bruce Carroll (Lois), Dennis Carroll, Joyce Murray and Jayne Day (Walter). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
