We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2020, Anita Gawenus of Spring Lake, New Jersey, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anita Gawenus to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Barker and Margaret Barker (McNulty); her son Frank Gawenus; and her brother Jeffery Barker. She is survived by: her husband Frank Gawenus of Wantage; her daughters, Kate Dailey (Bill) of Wall Twp, Jeanne Crissey (John) of Wantage and Suzanne Miller (David) of Vernon; her grandchildren, Billy, Ryan, Matt, Chris, Maggie Dailey, Elizabeth, Olivia Crissey, Andrew, Erin and Brian Miller; and her siblings, Ruthann (John Durst) and William Barker (Kathleen). She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either St. Monica's RC Church or the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
