He was predeceased by: his brother Charles; and his parents, Charles Mahala and Helen Mahala (Dvorsak). He is survived by: his wife Maureen (Hagan) of Christopher's Church; his children, Robert Mahala (Nancy), Thomas Mahala (Bonnie) and Eileen Tarleton (John); his grandchildren, Robert, Ryan, Matthew, Caitlin, Thomas, Kevin, Jack, Michael, Patrick, Luke, William, Grace and John; and his brother Daniel.
