She was predeceased by: her parents, Thuan Nguyen and Soi Thi Chieng; her grandmother Anna Sam Thi Truong; and her son Alphonso Phu Hoang. She is survived by: her husband Ken Hoang; her children, Dzung Hoang (Margaret Hoang), Camhong (Luy Nguyen), Thuha Hoang-Wu (Raymond Wu) and Yennga Hoang Perkons (Michael Perkons); and her brothers, Phuoc H. and Loc Nguyen. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
