He was predeceased by: his father John E. Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Kelly Thompson; his mother Kathleen M. Thompson; his siblings, Timothy F. Thompson of New York and Megan E. Barrett (Dennis) of Bethesda; his nieces and nephews, Ellie, Kate, Nell and John; his in-laws, Henry and Anna Jentzen; and also, Kevin Jentzen (Caitlin) and Hayes of Scottsburg, Indiana.. He is also survived by son, nieces, and nephews.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home-Wall (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catharine's Church (215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762). A burial was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in memory of Kevin to an already-established education fund for Teddy.
