He was predeceased by: his wife Ngocanh Hoang (Ann Elizabeth); and his son Phu Hoang. He is survived by: his children, Dzung Hoang (Margaret), Camhong Nguyen (Luy), Thuha Hoang-Wu (Raymond) and Yennga Hoang Perkons (Michael). He is also survived by his 14 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
