He was predeceased by: his wife Arleen Dunn Tompey; and his siblings, John, Kenneth, George Tompey and Lydia Tompey.
He is survived by: his son Joseph Tompey; his sisters, Virginia Spiegel and Alberta Schaadt; and his granddaughters, Amelia and Emma. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
