She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Hancock and Della M. Wade; her husband Lafayette B. Davis Sr.; and her children, Deborah Jean and Ronald Wayne.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory Alan Davis of Newark, NJ, Cheryl Williams, Lafayette Davis Jr. of Lakewood, NJ, Delores Nunnally and Renee Johnson (Ronald) of Murphy, NC. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, in-laws, and others in her extended family.
