He is survived by: his wife Rose Anne Del Nero; his children, Nicole Anne Del Nero, Julia Rose Del Nero, Donna Rooney and Donald Del Nero, Jr.; his sister Linda Dabak; and his grandchildren, Melissa and Kevin Rooney. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Stroke Association or the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
