He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton Urbanek and Millie Urbanek; his siblings, Sybil Gola, Mary Gola, Elizabeth Roberts, Allen Urbanek, Albin Urbanek, Lee Urbanek, Siegmond Urbanek and Millie; and his grandson Mitchell Urbanek.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Urbanek of Bradley Beach, N. J; his children, Karen Gittleman of Wall, Laura Meyer (Mark) of Aurora, OH, Janice Cucco (Anthony) of Howell and Mark Urbanek (Marci) of Lithia, FL; his grandchildren, Michael Gittleman (Allison), Sarah Gittleman, Evan Gittleman, Steven Meyer (Aryn), Matthew Meyer, Nicole Milnes, Mia Milnes, Makenna Urbanek and Max Urbanek; and his great grandchild Mason Gittleman.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Brien Funeral Home (2028 NJ-35, Wall Township, NJ 07719). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Catharine Church (215 Essex Ave, Spring Lake, NJ 07762). A burial was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 11:15 AM to 12:15 PM at the St. Anne Cemetery (1610 Allenwood Rd, Wall Township, NJ 07719).
