It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew J. Carlson of Spotswood, New Jersey, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on November 24, 2022, at the age of 16, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandmother Camille Carlson. He is survived by: his grandparents, Robert Carlson, Vincent and Minnie Curulli; his parents, John Carlson and Joanna Carlson; and his siblings, Dominique and John Vincent Carlson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
