She is survived by: her children, Joseph Cunha and Lina Shanley (Edward); her granddaughter Amanda Souza (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Lucas and Camila; her brothers, Jose Figueiredo (Isaura) and Manuel Figueiredo (Maria); and her caregiver Stephanie Porter. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
