He was predeceased by: his wife Sandra Capolupo (Toborowsky); his parents, Maria Capolupo (Rotella) and Dominick Capolupo; and his siblings, Constantino "Gus", Sarah and Katherine.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Capolupo, Sylvia Donaldson (Jimmie) and Joseph Capolupo, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jeremy, Jeffrey, Thomas, Aaron and Jared; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas and Gregory.
