He was predeceased by: his parents, Patricia Ann (Temple) and Daniel N. Herres Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Daniel N. Herres III of Maine and Jamie Lee Herres of Pennsylvania; his grandson James N. Herres; and his siblings, Walter Herres of New Jersey and Betty Steinmetz of New Jersey.
