He is survived by: his wife Gretchen; his children, Andrew (Deborah Paal), Linda (Bruce Karberg), Katherine (Scott Canter) and Bill Jr. (Marianne Paal); his grandchildren, Brandon, Clarissa Paal, Michelle Kruse (William Forgarty), Stephen Kruse (Stephanie Manley), Corban, Loren Canter, Kaylie, Ethan Masse, Karlie and Luke Tresslar; his great grandchildren, Logan, Landon, Jackson and Olivia; and his brothers, Walter and Douglas Paal.
