He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Mandara and Connie Mandara; and his brother Baby Johnny. He is survived by: his wife Sue Mandara; his daughters, Michele Krayem and Tammy Mandara; his sons-in-law, Tim Krayem and Brian Lapsley; his grandchildren, Rayelle, Colden, Matthew, Melissa and Genevieve; his great grandchild Kali; his brother Joseph Mandara; and his siblings-in-law, Phyllis Mandara, Michael and Christine Faller. He is also survived by the many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Goble Funeral Home (22 Main St, Sparta Township, NJ 07871). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Church (427 Stanhope Sparta Rd, Sparta Township, NJ 07871).
