He was predeceased by: his parents, Josef Weckler and Elizabeth Weckler; his daughter Katherine Elizabeth; his stepmother Therese; his brothers, Joseph, Alois and Dr. Gotz Weckler; his niece Barbara Weckler; and his nephew Dr. Hans Weckler.

He is survived by: his wife Mary; his son Michael; his sisters, Gertrude of Voelklingen and Henriatta of Schwenningen; and his siblings-in-law, Laura, Christina of Germany, Theresa Smerklo of Wanaque, Katherine (Tom Close) of Clifton, Ann (John Nicoloro) of Bridgewater, John Fraunberger of Vernon, Joseph (Helen) of Florida and Fabian Anthony (Lorraine) of Wayne. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
