She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmond Flaherty and Hanora Flaherty; her husbands, Thomas J Curtis and Theodore Kershaw; her siblings, Edmond Flaherty and Patricia; and her brother-in-law John Monahan.
She is survived by: her children, Colleen Curtis, Pegeen (Larry Skennion), Tom (Vicky Curtis), Elizabeth Curtis, Patty (Ben Bontekoe) and Peter (Megan Curtis); her stepsons, Tod and Sean Kershaw; her grandchildren, Abagail, Elijah Kirat, Brendan, Jack, Bridget, Liam Skennion, Quint, Kevin Curtis, Will, Sam, Lucy Bontekoe, Peter, Frances Curtis, Jude and Mica Kershaw; and her sister-in-law Mary Flaherty. She is also survived by six children, two stepchildren and 15 grandchildren.
