She is survived by: her sons, Leon Simerson (Carol), David Simerson (Gail) and Steven Simerson (Janeth Encarnacion); her grandchildren, Leon Simerson (Nicole), Marissa King (Jason), David Simerson and Nicole Sayre (Matthew); and her great grandchildren, Cole Simerson, Rogue, Jolene, Logan King and March.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
