He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Hart (O'Brien) and Frank P. Hart; his son Joseph K. Hart (Amy); and his siblings, Daniel J. Hart, Mary T. Hart, Catherine Hall (Bill), William Hart (Joan) and Frank Hart (Pat).

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy R. Hart (Gunn); his children, Daniel M. Hart, Thomas Hart (Deb), Dorothy Hart Dmuchowski (John) and Robert Hart (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Conor, Katie Johnson (Logan), Ryan, Christopher, Maryanne, Theresa, Lucas, Greg, Matthew (Christielee), Jennifer, Megan Hamilton (Chad), Nicole and Kristin (Drew).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
