She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Smith and Ione Smith; her husband John H. Hovencamp; and her daughter Mary Schmidt. She is survived by: her children, James Hovencamp (Bernice), Gloria Putera (Larry) and Susan Hovencamp (Michael Heath); her grandchildren, Michael Putera, Lori Sotosky (Matthew), Alan Hendershot, Chris Hendershot (Lori), Sherry Hovencamp and Keri Putera; and her great grandchildren, Andrew (Kaitlin), Jeremy, Jason, Kayla, Tristen and Karena.
