It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eric Schmelz (Sparta, New Jersey), who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Godrey, Winifred, Angus and Charlotte. He is survived by: his father David (Christine Schmelz); his children, Ashlyn and Jaxton; his fiancée Cheri Picariello; his sister Tracy; his brother-in-law Lou Zagada Jr.; his nephew Joshua Bridges, Jr.; and his mother Eileen Delea. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
