She was predeceased by: her husband Stephen E. Kepler; and her sister Ellie Lynch of Denville, NJ.. She is survived by: her children, Karen Kepler, Denise Ilavsky (Kepler) and Stephen J. Kepler; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Kepler (Ellie), Stephen E. Kepler, Meghan Kepler, Max Ilavsky, Caroline Kepler and Cameron Ilavsky; and her great grandchildren, Emma Kepler and Mackenzie Kepler. She is also survived by 3 children, 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.

Doris was a homemaker, but spent much of her time volunteering and doing charity work.
