She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Scollan and Nora Scollan; her husband Francis J. Monaghan; her children, Patricia A. Hynes and Brian G. Monaghan; and her siblings, Eileen Blake, Thomas Scollan and Francis Scollan.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Christi), Thomas (Wendy), John and Francis (Sarah); her daughter-in-law Siobhan Monaghan; her grandchildren, Christine Babasade (Tim), Michael Hynes, Alyssa Lusardi (Nick), Sean Monaghan, Caitlin Monaghan (Matt Schollmeyer), Bridget Monaghan, Rory Monaghan, Macklin Monaghan, Tadg Monaghan and Norah Monaghan Declan Monaghan; and her siblings, Kathleen Cassidy, Mary Knesel and John Scollan. She is also survived by five great grandchildren.
