She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Lewis and Harvey Lewis; her husband Jerry Allen Sr.; her son Jerry Allen Jr.; and her sisters, Brenda Faye Quinn (Dean) and Armaziel Lewis (Mae).

She is survived by: her daughter Darlene Allen of Toms River, NJ; her siblings, Essie "Crook" Lewis of Bronx, NY, William "Staut" Lewis (Joann), Michael "Nut" Lewis, Lorenza "Whip" Lewis, Barbara "Honey" Hosea of Dixon Mills, Fannie "Sally" Bacote and Annie "Tot" Collins; her sister-in-law Beverly Allen of Philadelphia, PA; her aunt Nell Gunn of Philadelphia, PA; her godson Jamal Rhines; and her grandchildren, Kiana Brewton, Katie Neyland, Karl and Sowell. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
