It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Elizabeth Witt MD (South River, New Jersey), born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on June 6, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sigmund Witt and Mary Sokolowski Witt, RN. She is survived by: her husband Norman Scheinberg; her sons, Douglas Scheinberg, Glen (Ashley Scheinberg) and Hawes; her granddaughter Scarlett; her siblings, Anne Louise and Thomas Paul; and her nieces and nephews, Laura, Alex and Russell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Dr. Witt's name to either the Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center or the Albert Einstein College of Medicine.
