He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Ralph and Harriet Victoria Gryta (Miynaski); his brother Dennis; and his former wife Janet. He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his son David (Elizabeth) of Nazareth, PA; his grandchildren, Matthew, Alyssa and Amanda; his great grandchild Rosalie Ann; his brothers, Francis and Jeffrey; his stepchildren, Caprila Perez (Johan) of North Plainfield, Edison and Geovanny (Karolina); his stepgrandchildren, Jennifer, Sheila, Landon Nunez, Nicole, IIan Perez and Aaron Perez; and his stepgreat-granddaughter Elaine Perez (Sandra Munoz Tejada).
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gustafson Home For Funerals (2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at the Hillside Cemetery (1401 Woodland Ave, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076).
