She is survived by: her mother-in-law Pat; her sons, Brian and Kevin; her significant other George; her daughter-in-law Kaye; her pets, Rosie and Bobo; her brothers, Philip and Paul; and her sister-in-law Liz. She is also survived by niece and seven nephews.

“I always wanted Patty to know how loved Kevin was, how grateful I was she created, nurtured and loved one of the greatest human beings and artists I've ever met. If there is any consolation to the Reitz family is that she is reunited with her baby boy and that (as a psych nurse myself) she provided great comfort to those that were hurting, helped heal them and bring back people from the brink. That is God's work and she belongs at the head of a glorious feast in Valhalla/ Heaven. RIP Patty. Much love, Lindsay S. from Massachusetts”

“I am learning of this tragedy quite late. To Brian George and Kaye I offer my deepest sympathy and condolences. Pat was a very important person in my life from 1996 and onward. She was definitely the "cool mom" who did not bug us or bother us when Kevin and I roamed around on sleepover nights. after July 1998 Patty became a 2nd mother to me and George a 2nd father. I could not have gotten through some terrible times if not for Pat and the Reitz family. Forever in my heart and prayers - Rob C”
