He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Benedicts Gerard and Eugenia Helen Leonard (O'Connor); his children, Kerry Leonard, Tyler of South Plainfield and Ben Leonard of Brick; the mother of his children Amparo Leonard of South Plainfield; his stepchildren, Luisa Hernandez of Piscataway, Jay of Piscataway, Juan Hernandez of Piscataway, Leidy of Piscataway and Jairo Hernandez of South Plainfield; and his sisters, Catherine Edmondson (James) of Albany, GA and Shelly Thielmann (Charles) of South Plainfield. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
