She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, James and Helena Waithe; her mother Marjorie; her former husband Allan Arthur King; her children, Patricia Doreen and Steven Allan King; her granddaughter Marjorie; and her husband Errol Allison Bailey. She was also cherished by her daughter and son-in-law raise two children.
