She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Hurst and Gladys Hurst. She is survived by: her husband Reinhold Oppel; her children, Linda Gerbino (Joe), Mark Oppel (Frederick) and Michele Oppel (DiStasio); her brother Fred Hurst (Emelia); her nephews, Fred Jr. (Laurie) and Jeffrey; and her grandsons, Joseph (Samantha), Anthony, Peter and Christopher.
