Leonard S. Yesis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leonard S. Yesis (South Plainfield, New Jersey), born in Plainfield, New Jersey, who passed away on February 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen; his children, Nancy Long (Thomas), Peter Yesis (Kim), Thomas Yesis (Deborah), Cheryl Gray (Gary), Merri-Beth Hull (Kenneth) and Jean Gundell (Blair); and his stepchildren, Eileen Burnett (Larry), William Butler (Ana), Elizabeth Zeitler (James) and Michael Butler (Sabine). He is also survived by 25 great grand-children as well as nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Sacred Heart (149 S Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080). A burial will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Gertrude Cemetery (53 Inman Ave, Colonia, NJ 07067).
