He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Grace Burns (Gibbons); his brother-in-law John Sillup; and his niece Laura Boyce. He is survived by: his son Charlie (Kate) of South Carolina; his stepchildren, Kristin Niederman (Seth), Allie Ronzo (Joe) and Brian Acrin (Genevieve); his grandchildren, Emilia, Nate, Joseph, Noah, Angelina, Cole and Brian; his sisters, Joyce Sillup and Trish Boyce (Howard); his nephews, Joshua and Adam; his niece Rebecca; and also, Jackie Arnet (Mark) and MaryAnn.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gustafson Home For Funerals (2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080). A prayer was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
