He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine Babish and George Babish Sr.; and his wife Joan (Carlos). He is survived by: his son George III; his brother-in-law John T. Carlos; his nieces, Jennifer Coppola, Karyn Gosnell (James) and Margaret Carlos; his great-nephew Michael Coppola III; and his great-niece Madison Rose Coppola.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the McCriskin - Gustafson Home For Funerals (2425 Plainfield Ave, South Plainfield, NJ 07080). A burial was held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Hollywood Memorial Park (1500 Stuyvesant Ave., Union, NJ 07083).
