It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gennaro D'Adezzio of South Plainfield, New Jersey, born in Jersey City, New Jersey, who passed away on November 27, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grace D'Adezzio and Sebastian D'Adezzio; and his siblings-in-law, Father Roch Ciandella and Barbara Vinci. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine D'Adezzio (Ciandella); his daughters, Jennifer Gil (Eric) and Therese D'Adezzio (Marianne); his grandchildren, Juliet and Jake Gil; his siblings, Judith Ciandella (Gerard), Philomena, Canio and Michael D'Adezzio; and his brother-in-law Jimmy Ciandella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

The family is requesting memorial donation in lieu of flowers be made to support and advocate for those living with neuromuscular conditions such as Muscular Dystrophy at http://www.mda.org (Muscular Dystrophy Association) "..All the pain and grief is over, every restless tossing passed.

“Canio, It has been such a long time since we last talked actually way too long. I am so sorry to hear the news about Gennaro. I know what a close family you were. Please offer everyone my condolences. I remember all the great times we had hanging out as kids growing up and the many times that we always begged Gennaro to borrow the his van so we could drive around and act cool (or so we thought).
