He was predeceased by: his parents, Antoinette Czaplinski and Chester S. Czaplinski; and his brothers-in-law, Frank DeSanto and Robert Besser. He is survived by: his wife Joy Ann Czaplinski; his sons, Daniel Czaplinski (Rhiannon) and Christopher Czaplinski (Brittany); his granddaughters, Adley and Marlee; his sisters, Jacqueline Baduini (Robert), Sandra Oliver (Edward), Joanne DeSanto and Connie Besser; his in-laws, James C. Schenck, James D. Schenck (Cathy), Jacqueline Kramer (William) and Jerald Schenck (Karen); and his pet Zoey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the Czaplinski family has asked that donations be made to the American Heart Association (https://www.heart.org), in Chet's name.
