He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon and Adelaide Boorse; and his siblings, Leon, Gordon and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne (Volpe); his son Jeffrey; his daughter-in-law Masako; his parents-in-law, Marc, Tom, Devin and Cheryle; and his pet Charlie. He is also survived by 20 nieces and nephews, 16 great nieces and nephews, and one great-great niece.
