With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Augustine Schmitt (South Plainfield, New Jersey), who passed away on February 28, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustine Schmitt and Christina Schmitt; and his wife Rose Marie Schmitt. He is survived by: his daughter Theresa Marcin (Robert) of Somerset; his grandson Jake Marcin; and his siblings, Elizabeth Albert of East Hanover and George Schmitt of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Plainfield Senior Center, 90 Maple Avenue South Plainfield, NJ 07080.
