She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Tano and Christina Tano. She is survived by: her husband George K. Intsiful; her children, Janet, Josephine, John, Benjamin and Gina; her grandchildren, Nii Sackey, Benedict, Gereall, Tyrell and Niamh; and her siblings, Kofi, Francis and Elizabeth. She is also survived by her family and friends.

When the family moved to Accra, Ghana she joined the Women's Shepherd Group a church-based charity.
